Job Description:

Proactive operations management services and technical escalation for operational issues.

Requirements:

• 5 years of Systems Engineer experience with Unix systems.
• 1 years of J2EE Application server install/support experience.
• Production environment support experience with large, high demand, and highly available environments (E-commerce 24x7 environments preferred.)
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a client facing role, and to build trust and confidence in the technical leadership ability.
• Understanding of critical operation processes such as Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Planning, and Security Management.
• 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field or work experience equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise storage architectures: SAN, NAS
• Ability to articulate network options for multi-tier highly available application architectures.
• Experience with high-end database servers focused primarily on tuning application server to database server connectivity.
• Development or developer support experience in a J2EE environment.
• Demonstrates creative thinking and innovative approaches using multiple technologies
